It has been reported on the island after a high level meeting with Military/Island Officials that ONLY Full Moon Party is allowed to operate on Koh Phangan and that all other parties (including Half Moon, Black Moon, Jungle Experience etc) will not be allowed to operate). Also there will be a 2am curfew on all bars/businesses across the island. Dormitories across the island must also register legally and ad here to the rules applied to hotel for regulations/tax etc. Taxi's/Jetski & motorcycle rentals will also be regulated. There will also be checks on illegal alcohol/drugs and illegal foreign workers. it has been stated that this is the start for change on Koh Phangan to return to an island of outstanding natural beauty and try and remove the excessive elements that have given the island such a bad reputation over the years. Full moon party due to its legacy will stay as the main attraction on the island once a month...
